A studio built
on collaboration.

A building gives a room its proportions. Light, materials and the way people move through it give it character. Our work brings these elements together.

For more than four decades, The Interiors Collaborative has designed hotels, residences, workplaces and cultural buildings across the Middle East. Based in Kuwait, our practice extends from early concepts to working drawings, material purchasing and site supervision.

We approach an interior as part of the building as a whole. A view through a doorway, a change in material or the placement of a seat can influence how a space is experienced.

We work with clients and specialist partners throughout the design process. On Aquatonic Spa, for example, we collaborated with P49 Designs in Thailand on the design and execution of the project.

Begin with people.

We begin with the brief: who will use the space, how it will operate and how its rooms connect.

Work through the detail.

Materials, lighting and furnishings are developed together, with attention to their proportions and how they meet.

Stay with the project.

Working drawings, purchasing and site supervision help translate the design into the finished work.

A breadth of experience.

Our portfolio spans hotels and residences,
as well as commercial and public buildings.
